I would also like to wish EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. And hope you all will continue to visit my blog in the new year as its been a pleasure getting to know you all in Blogger Land and seeing all the amazing and inspiring work you all have done.

Here's my words challenge. oops you can see the camera in the glass.LOL

I found a pack of ikea picture frames in a charity shop it had 2 this size 2 small squares and a larger rectangle in it and wait for it guess how much i paid ........ 60p what a bargain.

so i painted one white when it was dry i stamped a script stamp on to it in black, then i cut a piece of white card for the inside and stamped the script stamp on that. next i found a photo of my son on with a side profile scaled it down printed it cut his face out and used it as a template to draw round it on to black card cut that out, and stuck it to the insert piece . Its something a little bit different but its growing on me.

I folded a piece of white paper in half drew round the template found it in an old file must have photo copied it from a book any way i cut the design out with scissors and a craft knife then repeated the process so i had 2 then i laid them flat one on top of the other and pierced holes down the center on the fold line and stitched the 2 piece together making a loop at the top to hang it from the tree, i left it white as i was going to have a white theme on the tree this year but that's kinda gone out the window now .

Arty Girlz challenge #7 Rainbow Colours

This week on Arty Girlz we have a guest Designer the lovely Cynthia Rainbow lady she kindly agreed set this weeks challenge for us which is to create a work of art using just THREE colours from the Rainbow spectrum which are RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, INDIGO AND VIOLET.

I chose Yellow Green and Blue, I made a set of 4 ATC's using jut these 3 colours.

I just dabbed my ink pads over my ATC blanks in random order for my background, i must admit this is one of my favourite ways of doing a background , then stamped the image in dark blue with a Paper Artsy stamp then added some gems and flowers on the ATC's
