Master Boards

I made a master Board, this is a really cool way of making your own back grounds to use over and over, for mine i used an A4 piece of linen card stock, inks paint gesso and stamps.

I basically stamped the inks all over the card in different colours and blended them in, then i added some paint here and there and used gesso in places. when it was dry i stamped some images all over the card which were mainly Paper Artsy. with a cherrie pie and a stampin up sanded stamp. i also used a lid from a bottle to make the circles when it was all dry i put it in my scanner and print off a copy and scanned it into my comp as well. I'm keeping the original maybe to use on something or just for back up here's the original.

I cut up the photo copy to make the cards and Atc's below. the nice thing about master boards is you will get a different background depending how you cut it. Im defiantly going to be making more.

Here's the master Board

For this card i cut up a piece of the master board and mounted it on to purple card, stuck it to a pink square card blank. printed the image (one of my favourites) and cut it out and stuck it on to the card, i used a white gel pen around the edge of the image and smudged it with my fingers this gives a nice edge and a bit of depth. Then i stamped the life friend stamp studio G i think.

For this card i cut some more master board and stuck it to lilac card on a square card blank. cut out 6 inches from the master board added the image's and words and stuck these on an Atc card blank then mounted that on to lilac card stock then stuck that to the card.

for these ATC's i covered 2 Atc blanks with paper from the master board cut out the images and used the gel pen around the image as in the previous card. on the first one i stamped the her majesty and the little cushion and crown and on the second one just added a little flower in her hair.
