This week the challenge we have set over on the ARTY GIRLZ CHALLENGE BLOG is stamping this challenge has been sponsored by Parer Artsy the lovely Leandra from Paper Artsy has offered our partisipents some gorgeous stamps and also has given julie and i a set of all the stamps for us to play with how generous is that, but thats not all paper Artsy
are also offering Arty Girlz blog readers a fabulous 15% discount that will run from the Feb 12 - 19th you will need a code to get the 15% discount when you place your order so pop over to Arty Girlz to find out what the discount code is.

Here's mine

This piece measures approx 4.5" x 5.5" i used paints for the background in blue, green, orange a touch of white and yellow i applied the paint with bits of sponge and when it was dry i used gesso over the top, then stamped the swirls with the squiggly nini 08 stamp then i cut the image out of the oriental lady, i did add flowers but it just didnt look right so i opted for the simple look .

I painted this papier mache box with lovely bright red paint stamped the images from the swirls & curls 2 plate in black then clear embossed over the top, I added a piece of black ribbon round the lid and the diamonte charm is infact from a pair of flip flop type shoes that MIL was trowing away and the whole shoe had these fab little charms on them so i offered to take them off her hands and cut all the charms off think there was about 20 of them LOL

.

With this card i folded A4 acetate in half then cut it to 5.5" square , I stamped the verse with the squiggly mini 07 stamp on to a Atc blank in brown and inked the edge. Then cut a piece of dark red card for a mat and stuck this to the inside of the acetate behind the verse, then cut some PP the same size as the card and put it on the inside of the acetate and used 1 staple to attach it to the acetate. Lastly I used a piece of sticky ribbon on the front and added little primas flowers and jems.

With this card i used an apature card stamped the verse with the squiggly mini o7 stamp on to acetate and glues it to the back with clear glue to make the windwo then added pp to the inside of the card and finished with a couple of rub ons

This was a little papier mache frame which i painted with various paints and stamped the image from the swirls & curls 2 plate and then added Gesso to finish

Fabulous projects, you & Julie really have been busy.
My fav is the little frame.
Being away a whole weekend & being able to craft literally 24/7 has made me quite unhappy now I have to go back to work 7 hours a day. No matter how many ideas I have its not always possible to get them together after a full days work. I really need to find a partner so two wages are coming in & then I could drop a few hours!!
